HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES 3267 CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. 3267 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE WESTBOUND LANE OF S.W. 16TH STREET FROM OAKESDALE AVENUE S.W. TO RAYMOND AVENUE S.W. FOR ROADWAY AND UTILITY CONSTRUCTION. WHEREAS, the City of Renton has previously determined that a • storm drain line and wet vault needs to be installed; and WHEREAS, the installation of the storm drain line and wet vault will necessitate the temporary closure of the westbound lane of S .W. 16th Street from Oakesdale Avenue S .W. to Raymond Avenue S .W. ; and WHEREAS, the . work has been scheduled between July 1st and September 15, 1997to minimize interference with traffic; and WHEREAS, pursuant to City Code Section 9-9-3 , the City Council is to authorize such closures by resolution; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS : SECTION 1. The above recitals are found to be true and correct in all respects . SECTION II .
