1745 & 1764 REUTING TO ANN RATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY To
THE CITY OF RENTON
MMMS, the City of Renton has heretofore passed and approved
Ordinance No. 1745 annexingx certain territory to the City of Renton which Ordinance
was duly amended by Ordinance No. 1764, and
WWOEAS, it has now been determined that thoro exists uncertainty
and doubt as to the description and boundaries described in the aforesaid
Ordinances, and
WIMIMS , it is to 'the best interestsof the City to further amend
said Ordinances in ordor to accurately and firmly establish the boundcx3� lines and
territory of the area heretofore amioxod, NOV TM- WORE
BE IT ORDAI= BY THE 11YORAND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
RENTON AS FOLLOWS:
MICTIOU Is The legal description of certain territory annexed to the
City of Renton as set forth in ORDINANCE NO. 1745, as amended by ORDIMCE No. 1764,
Is hereby amended and corrected so that the proper description of the territory here-
tofore annexed shall read as follows
"Beginning at the intersection of the south line of South 180th Street
with the east line of Primary State Highway No. 5, said intersection being
in Section 31, Township 23 North; Range 5 East W.X,,- thence north along
the east line of Primary State Highway No. 5 to the north Line of South
156th Street; thence east along the north line of South 156th Street to
the west line of Lot 42, Block 7, C. D, Hillman's Earlington Gardens,
Division No. 1, according to plat thereof' recorded in Volume 17 of Plate,
Page 74, records of Irdmg County; thence northerly along the west Lima of
Lots 42 to 62 inclusive in Block 7, C. D. Hillman's Earliivgtori Gardens,
Division No. Ij thence northerly across 10th Place South to the west line
01 Lot 63, Block 7, C. D. Hillman's Earlington Gardens Dirlsion No. 1;
thence northerly along the vast line of,Lots 63 and 64, said Block 7, to
the north line of Lot 64, said Block 7; ti-mnoe east along the north linea
of Lots 64 and 65 to the vest line of Lot 6, said Block 7; thence north
along the west line of said Lot 6 to the south line of 10th Avenue South;

of 9th Avenue South to the east line of Primary State Highway No. 5;

north line of the Pacific Coast Railroad; thence west along the north
line of the Pacific Coast Railroad to the easterly line of the City of
Seattle power line right of way casement; thence northerly along the
easterly line of said City of Seattle power line right of way easement
to the southerly shore :Lands Lima Of Mack River, as platted in
Supplemental Nap of Renton Shore Lands filed with the County Auditor
of King County on September 29, 1958, by the State of Washington,
Department of Natural Resources; thence westerly along said platted
southerly shore lands line to the easterly platted shore lands line;

thence west along the south line of the alley in said Block 14 to the

the west line of said Lot 7 produced south to the north line of said
Block 114; thence west along the north line of said Block 114 produced
west to the west line of Lot 15, Block 13, said Earlington Addition,
produced south; thence north along the west line of said Lot 15,
produced south to the south line of Sunset Boulevard West (Primary
State Highway No. 2, Renton Branch); thence west along the south line
of Sunset Boulevard west to a point on a line which bears North 17010'
West to the southeast corner of Lot 24, Block 5, said Earlington Addi-
tion; said lot corner being on the north line of 5th Avenue west; thence
westerly along the north line of 5th Avenue West to the northerly line
of Primary State highway No. 2, Benton Branch; thence northwesterly along
the northerly line of Primary State Highway No. 2, Renton Branch, to the
easterly line of 81st Avenue South; thence southwesterly along; the easterly
Line of 81st Avenue South produced southwesterly to the south line of
South 1140th Street; thence westerly and southwesterly along the southerly
line of South 1110th Street to the northerly line of the Pacific Coast Rail-
road, thence southwesterly, westerly and northwesterly along the northerly
line of the Pacific Coast Railroad to the centerline of the 68th Avenue
South (alsoknown as County road No. 8, Steel Bill Road and Monster Road) as
shown on the Junction Addn. to Seattle Plat, volume 12 of Plats, Page 73,
records of King County; thence southeasterly along said 68th Avenue South
centerline, 250 feet more of less to said south bank of the Black River
Channel; thence southwesterly along said south bank to the southwesterly
right-of-way line of Monster Road (South ].143rd Street); thence easterly
along the south Line of said Monster Road and continuing southerly along the
west lane of said Monster Road (72nd Avenue South) to the northerly line or
the Northern Pacific Railway; thence northwesterly along the ncrthwesterly
line of the Northern Pacific Railway, a distance of 280 feet more or less;
thence southwesterly to •the corporate limits of the City of Tukwila along a
line which bears 900 northeasterly from the northeasterly city limits line
of the City of Tukwila from its point of intersection with the northwesterly
city limits line of the City of Tukwila; thence southeasterly along the said
corporate limits line of the City of Tukwila produced to the westerly line of
the Chicago Milwaukee St. Paul and Pacific Railway and Union Pacific Railway;
thence southerly along the westerly line of the Chicago Milwaukee St. Paul
and Pacific Railway and Union Pacific Railway to the north line of Nelson
Place, also known as 72nd Avenue South; thence westerly and southerly along
the northerly and westerly line of Nelson Place produced south to the south
line of South 153rd Street; thence east along the south Jim of South 153rd
Street to the west line of the Northern Pacific Railway; thence south along
the west line of the Northern Pacific Railway to a point on a line 141.0 feet
more or less north from the south line of the Henry Meader Donation Claim
No. 146; thence west along the line IIIA feet north more or less from the south
line of said Henry Deader Donation Claim No. 46 to the east line of Secondary
State Highway No. 5X; thence south along the east line of Secondary State
Highway No. 5M to the north corporate limits line of the City of Tukwila;
thence east along the north city limits line of. the City of Tukwila to the
west line of the SE� of the 01, of Section 25, Township 23 North; Range 5
East W.M. said west line being the east city limits of the City of Tukwila-
thence south along the said east city limits line of the City of TuIWila to
the northwest corner of the SEi• of the SL, of Section 25, Township 2$ North,
Range 5 East W.M., said northwest corner being on the south city limits of

to the north boundary line of the Henry Adams Donation Claim No. 43 pro-
duced west along the centerline of South 180th Street; thence east along
the north boundary line of the Henry Adams Donation Claim No. 43 produced
most to the centerline of Secondary State Eohway Ido; 511; thence South along;
the centorline of Secondary State Highway i.e. 5M to the south line of South
180th Street produced -west; thence mast along the south line of South 180th
Street produced west to the east line of primary State highway No. 5, the
