AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTOD), CHANGING
THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN
THE CITY OF RENTON FROM AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A..1) TO
HEAVY INDUSTRY DISTRICT (H..1).
WHEREAS under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps adopted in
conjunction therewith, a proper petition for a change of zone classification of
certain properties as hereinbelow more particularly described to HEAVY INDUSTRY
DISTRICT (H..l) has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton on or
about June 20, 1960, and such hereinbelow described properties had heretofore been
zoned AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT (A..1) under the zoning regulations of King County and
said properties having heretofore been duly annexed to the City of Renton and
being a part thereof; and
WHEREAS said petition was duly submitted to the Planning Commission for
investigation, public hearing and study, and a public hearing having been held
thereon on August 10, 1950, in the Council Chambers of the City of Renton, all
pursuant to Notice of hearing duly published and posted as provided by law, and
said Planning Commission having duly considered and studied said petition and
having determined that such rezoning is in the public interest and for the general
welfare; now therefore
FOLLOWS:
BE IT ORDAINED 13Y THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS
SECTION I: The following described parcels of property in the City of
Renton are hereby rezoned to HEAVY INDUSTRY DISTRICT (H..1) and the City Engineer
is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance of the
City of Renton to evidence this rezoning; said properties being described as follows:
Lots 11 to 48 inclusive, Block 19; all of Blocks. 20, 23, 24, 31,
32, 33 and 34 including vacated streets in C. D. Hillmanrs
Earlington Garden Division No. 1 as recorded in Book of plats
%fume 17, Page 74, all located in Renton, King Cou n ty, Washington
and said rezoning to be subject to the laws and Ordinances of the City of Renton
and in compliance with the plans and specifications heretofore submitted by
Petitioners -Owners of said property.

SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect, from
and after its passage, approval and legal publication.
