RESOLUTION NO. 2893
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AN
INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR WATERFOWL TRANSLOCATION.
WHEREAS, the appropriate federal, state and local agencies
have agreed to the transfer of up to 90% of certain indicated
species of waterfowl to appropriate locations in Eastern Washington
and Idaho and non-hunting locations, particularly the translocation
of Canada Geese; and
WHEREAS, it would be economically advantageous for several
governmental organizations to join together in such an effort; and
WHEREAS, the proposed agreement is for the second year of a
five year project.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The above recitals are found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized
to enter into an Interlocal Agreement for Waterfowl Translocation.
