RESOLUTION NO. 2777
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, MAKING THE
METHOD OF REGIONAL REVENUE ALLOCATION A HIGH PRIORITY OF
RENTON'S PARTICIPATION IN THE 1990 PLANNING AND ACTION
AGENDA FOR THE HUMAN SERVICES ROUNDTABLE.
WHEREAS, the City of Renton through its participation in the
Human Services Roundtable and the efforts of its Housing and Human
Resources Citizens Advisory Committee and human service providers,
has begun the process of identifying and prioritizing local human
service needs; and
WHEREAS, local control in cooperation and coordination with
other jurisdictions in the region is the most comprehensive and
efficient approach to addressing human service issues; and
WHEREAS, a method of allocating potential regional revenues
among the region's multiple jurisdictions has not been developed.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I. The above recitals are hereby found to be true and
correct in all respects .
SECTION II. The City of Renton will make the method of
regional revenue allocation a high priority as it begins its
participation in the Human Services Roundtable' s 1990 planning and
action agenda.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 11th day of December ,
1989 .
