RESOLUTION NO. 2610
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
SETTING A HEARING DATE FOR A CERTAIN STREET
VACATION (RENTON VILLAGE COMPANY VAC 004-85)
WHEREAS .the City of Renton, on its .own initiative, or
following petition by more than one-half (1/2) of adjoining property
owners, pursuant to the requirement of RCW 35 .79 wishes to vacate a
portion of a certain street as hereinafter more particularly described,

to-wit:
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof as if fully set forth
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to fix a date for public
hearing thereon, NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: That the 12th day of August, 1985, at the
hour of 8 : 00 P.M. at the City Council Chambers in the Municipal
Building, Renton, King County, Washington, be and is hereby fixed as
the time and place for hearing on the vacation of the aforedescribed
street which said hearing date is not more than sixty (60) days nor
less than twenty (20) days from the date of passage of this Resolution.
SECTION II: The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to give notice of said time and hearing as provided by RCW 35 .79 and
any and/or all persons interested therein or objecting to said
vacation may then appear and be heard thereon, or they may file
their written objections thereto with the City Clerk at or prior
to the time of hearing on said vacation.

SECTION III: The City Council may determine at or prior
to said hearing whether an appraisal shall be secured to determine
the fair market value of the property sought to be vacated as provided
for in Ordinance No. 2349 ; the City likewise reserves the right
to retain an easement for public utility and other public purposes
over any of the. portion determined to be vacated.

EXHIBIT "A"
That portion of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section
19, Township 23 N. , Range 5 East, W.M. , King County, Washington, more
particularly described as follows:
That portion of South Renton Village Place lying East of the East margin
of 96th Ave. South as vacated by the City of Renton Ordinance No. 2051,
and lying West of a line drawn at right angles to the center line of
said South Renton Village Place, said line being 130 feet West of the
intersection of SR 515 (Talbot Rd. South) and South Renton Village
Place as measured along the centerline of South Renton Village Place.
Subject to an easement over, across, under and on all of the afordescrib-
ed property for public and quasi public utilities.
