RESOLUTION NO. 2586
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON .
SUPPORTING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A SOUTHEND
KIDNEY DIALYSIS CENTER
WHEREAS a number of citizens in South King County are
required to undergo kidney dialysis, and
WHEREAS certain of those kidney dialysis patients are
required to go to Seattle for such treatment, and
WHEREAS travel is time consuming and difficult on the
patient, and
WHEREAS there is a demonstrated need for a kidney dialysis
center in the Southend, and
WHEREAS there has been a proposal for a non-profit kidney
dialysis center in the general area of the Valley Medical Center,
NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,WASHINGTON, DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The City Council of the City of Renton does
endorse the concept. of having a kidney dialysis center in the
proximity of Valley Medical Center.
