RESOLUTION N0. 2530
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
AUTHORIZING AN INTERLOCAL COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
WITH WATER DISTRICT NO. 58 .
WHEREAS the City of Renton has found it advisable to acquire
the water system in the Ponderosa Estates from Water District No.
58 , and
WHEREAS Water District No. 58 has found it advisable to transfer
said water system to the City of Renton, and
WHEREAS it is necessary for the City of Renton to compensate
Water District No . 58 for the value of said water system, and
WHEREAS it is necessary to memorialize such terms and
conditions by means of an Interlocal Cooperative Agreement ,
NOW THEREFORE , THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : The above recitals are found to be true and correct
in all respects .
SECTION II : The Mayor and City. Clerk are authorized to
execute an agreement with Water District No . 58 for the acquisition
of the water system in the Ponderosa Estates by the City of Renton
for the consideration of $10, 310. 00.
