RESOLUTION NO. 2333
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT AND INSTALL
CURBS, GUTTERS, SIDEWALKS AND ' UNDERGROUND
UTILITIES AND ILLUMINATION SYSTEM APPURTENANCES
THERETO IN AND NEAR N. _ 30TH STREET, FROM PARK
AVENUE N TO FAI-405 AS MORE PARTICULARLY DES-
CRIBED HEREIN; AND TO CREATE A LOCAL IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT TO ASSESS THE COST AND EXPENSE OF SAID
IMPROVEMENT AGAINST THE PROPERTIES IN SUCH
DISTRICT SPECIALLY BENEFITED THEREBY; NOTIFYING
ALL PERSONS WHO MAY DESIRE TO OBJECT TO SAID
IMPROVEMENT TO APPEAR AND PRESENT THEIR
OBJECTIONS AT A MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO BE
HELD ON : JULY,` :T. 1980 AND CREATING LOCAL
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 318
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS.-
SECTION
OLLOWS:SECTION I: That it is the intention of the, City Council of the City of
Renton, Washington, to construct and install curbs, gutters, sidewalks and underground
utilities and illumination system appurtenances thereto, in the following described area
of the City, to-wits
1. (a) Description of Local Improvement District No. 318
As incorporated herein as per Exhibit "A" which is made a part
hereof as if fully set forth.
(b) Improvements:
As incorporated herein as per Exhibit "B" which is made a part
hereof as if fully set forth.
There shall be included in the foregoing the acquisition and installation of
all necessary valves, fittings, couplings, connections, equipment and appurtenances, and
the acquisition of any easements, rights-of-way and land that may be required; and
there shall further be included the performance of such work as may be incidental
and necessary to the foregoing construction and installation.
The City Council may, in its discretion, modify and amend the details of
the foregoing described improvement, including the financing thereof, where in its
judgment it appears advisable, provided such modifications and amendments do not
substantially alter the general plan of said improvement project. All of the foregoing

shall be in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor to be prepared by
the Director of Public Works of the City of Renton.
SECTION II: The entire cost and expense of said improvement unless
hereafter timely modified or amended by the City Council, shall be borne by and
assessed against the property specially benefited by such improvement to be included
in the local improvement district to be established, embrilcing as near as may be all
property specially benefited by such improvement. There shall be included in the cost
and expense of said improvements all cost items specified in RCW 35.44.020.
SECTION III: That all persons who may desire to object to the improvement
herein described are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting
of the City Council to be held in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Renton,
Washington at 8:00 P.M. on June 30, 1980 which time and place are hereby fixed for
hearing all matters relating to said proposed improvement and all objections thereto
and for determining the method of payment for said improvement. The City Clerk
shall give notice of said hearing and said proposed improvement as required by law.
SECTION IV: Warren Gonnason, Public Works Director, or his duly authorized
representative, is hereby directed to submit to the City Council, on or before the
aforesaid hearing date, all data and information required by law to be submitted.

EXHIBIT "A"

That portion of the southeast quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 32,
Township 24 North, Range 5 East, W.M. described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of Park Avenue North' (104th Avenue S.E.) and
North 30th Street (S.E. 94th Street) ; thence northerly along the centerline
of Park Avenue North a distance of 130 feet; thence easterly along. a line
running parallel with and 130 feet northerly of the centerline of North 30th
Street a distance of 608 feet, more or less, to a oint on the west right-
of-way line of Primary State Highway No.l (S.R.405�; thence southerly along
said right-of-way line and the southerly extension of said line a distance
280 feet, more or .less, to a point lying 150 feet southerly of, as measured
at right angles to the centerline of North 30th Street; thence westerly
parallel with and 150 feet southerly of said centerline a distance of 608
feet, more or less to a point on the centerline of Park Avenue North; thence
northerly along said centerline a distance of 150 feet to the true point
of beginning.

L.I.D. #318
Construct approximately 600 l.f. of roadway, consisting of curb, gutter,
sidewalk, drainage, traffic control, paving and all necessary appurtenances
on N. 30 St. from Park Ave. N. easterly to F.A.I. 405 overcrossing.
