CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 21'63
WHEREAS theCity of Renton, on its own initiative,
pursuant to the requirement of RCW 35 .79. 0.30 wishes to vacate all
or any portion of a certain alley as hereinafter more particularly
described, to-wit;
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof as if fully set forth. herein
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable tofix a date for public
hearing thereon, NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON? WASHINGTON DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS ;
SECTION I ; That the 27th day of February 11978 , at
the hour of 8 ; 00 P .M. at the City C=ouncil Chambers in the Municipal
Building , Renton, King County, Washington, be and is hereby fixed
as the time and place for hearing on the vacation of the aforedescribed
portion of alley which said hearing date is not more than sixty (60)
days nor less than twenty (20) days from the date of passage of this
Resolution.
SECTION II ; The City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to give notice of said time and hearing as provided by
RCW 35. 79 . 020 and any and/or all persons interested therein or
objecting to said vacation may then appear and be heard thereon, or
they may file their written objections thereto with the City Clerk
at or prior to .tIE'time of hearing on said. vacation.
SECTION III ; The City Council may determine at or prior
to said hearing whether an appraisal shall be secured to determine
the fair market value of the property sought to be vacated as provided
for in Ordinance No. 2349 ?. the City likewise reserves the right to
retain an easement for public utility and other public purposes over
any of the portion determined to be vacated.

An alleyway, having a width of 12 feet, running in an east - west direction
through Block 18, C. D. Hillman's Lake Washington Garden of Eden Division
No. 1, as recorded in Volume 11 of plats, page 63, records of King County
Washington; lying southerly of lots 1 through 25 on the north and
northerly of lots 26 through 50 on the south; and also lying easterly of
the easterly Right-of-Way line of Burnett Ave. N. , extended and westerly
of the westerly Right-of-Way line of Park Avenue N. extended;
Situated within the SW 1/4 of Section 32, Township 24 North, Range 5 E. ,
W.M.
Area = 15,000 sq. ft.
