CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 2214
WHEREAS the City of Renton has accumuilated•. various items
of property as hereinafter more particularly described, and
WHEREAS none of said itemsis of any further use and
benefit to the City -and there is no foreseeable requirement for
any of said items, and
WHEREAS it is to the best interest of the City to declare
such items of property surplus and dispose of them in the best and
most advantageous manner as hereinafter specified, NOW THEREFORE
THE. .CITY,. COUNCIL :OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The aforesaid findings and recitals are
hereby found to be true and correct in all respects .
SECTION II: It is hereby found and determined that the
following items of City property are- no longer needed by :the
respective Departments and there is no foreseeable requirement or
need therefor, and all of said' terns are hereby (declared surplus ,
to-wit:
4 Manual typewriters 1 Kodak enlarger
1 Adding Calculator. 1 Kodak enlarger attachment
2 Dictating machines 1 Omega print dryer
2 Manual slot punches 5 Typing chairs
2 Postal scales 11 Overhead security lights
4 Desk organizer files Misc . letter trays
2 Date/Time machines Misc small files
1 Table 2'x4' Misc shelves
20 lengths (1000 feet) of 2 1/2" fire hose
The City' s Purchasing Controller is hereby authorized
and directed to advertise for the sale of the above described property,
upon sealed bids, and as otherwise provided by law. The City
reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any
irregularities in the form of the bid. Said property shall be
sold on a cash basis, in "as is" condition without warranty of
any kind, express or implied.
