CITY OF RENTON , .WASHINGTON
RESOLUTION NO. 2224
WHEREAS the City of Renton , a municipal corporation ,
acting as a noncharter code city under the laws and statutes of the
State of Washington has been negotiating for the acquisition of
certain properties as herein more particularly described for the
purpose of establishing and maintaining wetland areas and trail
systems within the City of Renton, and
WHEREAS proper funds therefore have been provided and
appropriated, and
.WHEREAS the City has heretofore caused- an appraisal of
said property to be made by a qualified appraiser , and
WHEREAS a review appraiser has prepared a .written
• report reviewing and modifying the original appraisal establishing
the fair. market value in the sum of .$ 5 ,253 .00 and
WHEREAS the owner of said property shall be provided
with all of the pertinent information regarding said acqusition
and the determination of the fair market value thereof , NOW THEREFORE
• THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS :
• SECTION I : The above recitals and findings are •
hereby found to be true and correct in all respects .
SECTION II : It is hereby determined and established
tthetha ` e fair marker value of the 1 rip described - (- as
folk ����_-z; property per its appraisal and review appraisal is the sum of $5 , 253 . 00
and said parcel of property is more particularly described on
the attached Exhibit "A" , which is incorporated by reference
herein as if fully set forth.
SECTION III : The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby
authorized and directed to take all necessary steps including
the execution of all proper documents to secure the acquisition
of said parcel of real estate for the establishing and maintaining
wetland areas and trail systems within the City of Renton. The
Mayor, or his duly-authorized representative , shall further take
all necessary action to secure any additional funding, over and above
the amount presently appropriated in City of Renton 19.78 Budget
Account Nos . 000/000/07 . 538 . 36. 61 . 00, 000/000/07 . 538 : 37 . 61 . 00., .
000/000/07 . 538 . 42 . 61 . 00 and 000/000/07 . 538 . 42 . 61 . 04 as provided by-
law.

Any such. conveyance by the owner of said land shall
be by statutory warranty deed , free and clear of all encumbrances
except those of record as set forth in Transamerica Title Insurance
Company' s Report No : 427308 dated April 13 , 1978 , further
'reference being made thereto and same being incorporated by reference
• as if fully set forth.'
