. RESQLUTION N0 . 1843
WHEREAS the City of Renton, acting by and through its
RENTQN AVIATION BOARD , is making application to the Federal
Aviation Authority for Airport Development Aid Program funding
in support of Renton Municipal Airport Phase II Development , and
WHEREAS the Renton City Council has heretofore endorsed
sai.d Development Project, and
WHEREAS theRenton Aviati.on Board has heretofore adopted
its Resoluti.on No . 1-73 on March 20 , 1973 , and
[�IHEREAS the City Council is fully supporting saa.d Project,
NOW THEREFORE
BE TT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY 0�' RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : The City Council hereby supports that certain I
Resolution No. 1-73 of the Renton Aviation Board passed and
adopted on March 20 , 1973 .
SECTzON II: The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized I,
and di.rected to execute a proper application for grant aid in the
amount of $100 ,000 . 00 to the Washington State Economic Assistance
Authority , and to execute any and all other documents reasonably
necessary in support of such application.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 26thday of March , 1973 .
