' u �, � _' ' a • « . �� � � • . . . � � • RESOLUTION N0. 1849 � A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT AND INSTALL UNDERGROUND POWER AND OTHER UTILITYLINES AND APPURTENANCES THERETO IN SOUTH FOURTH STREET BETWEEN �INIER AVENUE SOUTH AND MAIN AVENUE SOUTH AND TO CREATE A LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT TO ASSESS THE COST AND EXPENSE OF SAID IMPROVEMENT AGAINST THE PROPERTIES IN SUCH DISTRICT SPECIALLY BENEFITED THEREBY; NOTIFYING ALL PERSONS WHO MAY DESIRE TO OBJECT TO SAID IMPROVEMENT TO APPEAR AND PRESENT THEIR OBJECTIONS AT A MEETIN6 OF THE CITY COUNCIL TO BE HELD ON MAY 7th , 1973 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS : SECTION I : That it is the intention of the City Council of the City of Renton, Washington, to construct and install the following under round ower and other utili y •li�e� b conversion from overhead lines , g P �r ��� � ���x���a��c , together with /accessories and appurtenances thereto , in the following described area of the City, to wit: 1 . (a) Description of Local Improvement Distric�2,�� on South Fourth Street from Rainier Avenue South to Main Avenue South (b) Improvements : X����T��XX����X����X ON From To -1- . 1 • • � • (. • '� ' � ' � • � • • • i � ... • 7 . .� There shall be included in the foregoing the acquisition and j installation of all �����x������� , connections , ���������� equipment and appurtenances, and the acquisition of any easements, rights-of-way and land that may be required; and there shall further be included the performance of such work as may be incidental and necessary to the for�going construction and installation. The City Council may, in its discretion, modify and amend the details of the foregoing described improvement, including the financing fhereof, where in its judgment it appears advisable , provided such modifications and amendments do not substantially alter the general plan of said improvement project. Al1 of the foregoing shall be in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor to be prepared by the City Engineer of the. City of Renton. SECTION II : The entire cost and expense of said improvement9 unless hereafter timely modified or amended by the City Council, shall be borne by and assessed against the property specially benefited by such improvement to be included in the local improvement district to be established , embracing as near as may be all property specially benefited by such improvement. There shall be included in the cost and expense of said improvements all cost items specified in RCW 35 .44 . 020• provid d howe er t at the maximum frontage foot assessment shall no-� exceed �5 . 00 per �ror�tE��. III: That all persons who may desire to object to the improvement herein described are hereby notified to appear and present such objections at a meeting of the City Council to be held in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, Renton, Washington, at 8 : OOP.M. on May 7th. , 1973 , which time and place are hereby fixed for hearing all matters relating to said proposed improvement and all objections thereto and for determining the method of payment for said improvement.
