BE IT RESOI�VED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CI'�Y OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS :
SECTTON I: Effective as of January l, 1973 , there is he.reby
fixed, established and levied a .service charge impos.ed upon the ,
Ci�ky' s Utili-ty .Department which charge shall be in an amount equal
to lo of the gross value of the Utilities Plant improvements, �
including its capital assets within the control of said Department .
The Director of rinance, for and on behalf of said
Utility .Department, shall submit to the City Council on or before
July l, of each year the valuation of the Utilities' properties and
as.sets computed as of December 31st of the preceding year, for the
purpose of e.stablishing and fixing the service charge rate for each
s.uch ensuing year and such rate and charges shall be _levied as may
be determined by the City Council from time to time and as further
specified in the City' s annual b.udget.
SEGTTON II: Any and all other Resalutions or Ordinances in �
confJ.ict herewith are hereby repealed.
