AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
SECTION 4-31-39 OF C�APTER 31, ZONING CODE, OF TITLE IV
(BIIILDING REGULATIONS) , OF ORDINANCE NO. 4260 ENTITLED
"CODE OF GENER.AL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON" RELATING TO NTJISANCE VIOLATIONS AND
PENALTIES. _
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I. Section 4-31-39 of Chapter 31, Zoning Code, of I
Title IV (Building Regulations) , of Ordinance No. 4260 entitled
"Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton, Washington" is
hereby retitled� V_IOLATIONS DECLARED NUISANCE AND PENALTIES and is
amended to read as follows :
4-31-39 : VIOLATIONS DECLARED NUISANCE AND PENALTIES :
Violation of any provisions of the permitted use or prohibited use
sections of the Zoning Code are hereby declared a nuisance and may i
be en 'oined b a court of com etent 'urisdiction. Penaltie for I

any violations of this Chapter may also be imposed pursuant to
Chapter 33 of Title Iv, or where appropriate by both injunction
and civil penalty.
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval, and five days after publication.
