for annexation to the City of Renton, the petitioning owners

pre-existing bonded indebtedness of t�e City of Renton , as,, it
pertains to the territory petitioned to be annexed; and to accept ,
that portion of the city' s Comprehensive Plan as it pertains to the
territory including the applicable Zoning Code relating thereto; and
WHEREAS, the Development Services �� Division has examined and I
' verifi�d the signatures �� the �etiticn f�r �.n,r_ex�t�on and
determined ti�e assessed valuation of all the properties, the same
being in excess of sixty percent ( 60�) of the area to be annexed, in
value, as provided by law, and the petition also setting forth the
legal description of the property according to government legal

subdivision or plat, and the Development Services Division of the
� City of Renton having considered and recommended the annexin� of
said property to the City of Renton; and
WHEREAS, the City Council fixed August 3, 1992 at 8 : 00 P.M. as
the time and place for public hearing in the City Council Chambers,
City Hall, Renton, washington, upon the petition and notice thereof
having been given as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said notices public hearings have been
held at the time and place specified in the notices, and the Council I
having considered all matters in connection with the petition and ''
£.urther determined that: all legal requirements and procedures of the i
law a.ppiicable to the �petiti.on_ method- for annexation have been met; '

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, I
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: j
SECTION I. � The findings, recitals, and determinations are I
hereby found to be true and correct in all respects; all
requirements of the law in regard to the annexation by petition
method, including the provisions of RCW 35A. 14 . 120, 130, 140 and
150, have been met. It is further determined that the petition for
annexation to the City of Renton of the property and territory
descrihecl below is hereby approved and granted; the following

described property being contiguous to the city limits of the City '
of Renton is hereby annexed to the City of Ren�on, and sucr�
annexation to be effective on and after the approval, passage, and
publication of this Ordinance; and on and after said date the
property shall constitute a part of the City of Renton and shall be I�
subject to all its laws and ordinances then and thereafter in force I�
and effect; the property being described as follows :
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as
if fully set forth herein
(Said property, approximately 13 .49 acres, is located
south of N.E. lOth Street and east of Union Avenue N.E. )
and the awners-petitio.ners of the property shall assume the pre-
existing bonded inde�btedness of the City of Renton -as prescribed � in
RCW .35.. 13 . 126 as it-per,tai.ns. to� the-property, �and the proper.ty �to be

That portion of the SW �4 of the NW �/4 of Section 10, Township 23 North, Range 5 East, W.M. described
as follows:
Commencing at the NW corner of the SW �/4 of the NW �/4 of said Section 10, thence easterly aior.g the
north line of said subdivision a distance of 30 feet to the point of beginning, said point also being on the
existing City limits of Renton as annexed by Ordinance #2000;
Thence continuing easterly along the north line of the SW �/4 of the NW �/4 of said section, said
subdivision line also being the centerline of NE lOt� Street, and the existing City limits as annexed by
Ordinance#2000, a distance of 37.5.00 feet;
Thence southerly perpendic�lar to the nort� line of the SW �/4 of the NW �4, and along the existing City
limits as annexed by Ordinance #2423, a distance o�160.Q2 feet;
'�'�ence easterly a:ang a line parallel with the north line of said subdivision, said line also being the
exnsting Ciry limits �ine as annexed by Ordinance #2423, a distance of 131.06 feet to a point 100 feet
�vesterly of, as measured at right angles to, the east line of the NW 1/4 of the SW �/4 of the NW �/4 of Section
10, said point being on the existing Ciry limits as annexed by Ordinance #2423.
Thence northerly along a line parallel with and 100 feet westerly of said east line, said line also being the
existing City limits as annexed by Ordinance #2423, a distance of 25 feet more or less to a point which
,� lies 135 feet southerly of, as measured at right angles to, the north line of the SW �/a of the NW �/4 of

southwest corner of said Plat, said SW corner also being on the north line of the S �/z of the N 1/z of the
SW �/4 of the NW �/a of Section 10;
Thence easterly along said north line, said line also being the existing City limits as annexed by
Ordinance#2307, and the south line of said plat, to the southeast corner, thereof;
Thence continuing easterly along said north line, said north line also being the existing City limits as
annexed by Ordinance#2210, to the east line of the W '/z of the NW �/4 of Section 10;
Thence southerly along said east line to the south line of the N lfz of the S�ti �/a of the 1VV� �/4 of Section
10, said south line also being the City limits as annexed by Ordinance #3058;
Thence westerly along said south line and said existing Ciry limit line to the easterly right-of-way line of
Union Avenue NE, said easterly right-of-way line also being the existing City limit line as annexed by
Ordinance #1981;
Thence northerly along said easterly right-of-way line, and said existing Ciry limit line, and its northerly
extension, to an intersection with the north line of the SW 1/a of the NW �/4 of Section 10, at a point
which lies 30 feet east, as measured along said north line, from the NW corner of said subdivision and
the point of beginning.
