ORDINANCE NO. 4384
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WAS�INGTON
ESTABLISHING THE ZONING CLASSIFaCATYON OF CERTAIN
PROPERTIES ANNERED TO THE CITY OF RENTON TO R-1 (SINGLE-
FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) (SENESCU ZONE DESIGNATION) .
WHEREAS, under Chapter 31 (Zoning Code) , of Title IV (Building
Regulations) , of Ordinance No. 4260 known as the "Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Renton, " as amended, and the maps and
reports adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow
described has not been zoned in the City of Renton; and
WHEREAS, said property owners petitioned the City of Renton for
annexation and concurrent rezoning, which said annexation having
previously been approved and the property annexed to the City of
Renton, and :the City Council having held two public hearings to
consider this zoning application, the first hearing being heid on
August 3, 1992, and the second hearing being held on November 23,
1992, and said zoning request being in conformity with the city' s
Comprehensive Plan, as amended, and the City Council having duly
considered all matters relevant thereto, and all parties having been
heard appearing in support thereof or in opposition thereto.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. The following described property in the City of
Renton is hereby zoned to R-1 (Single-Family Residential) as ,
hereinbelow specified, the Development Services Director is hereby

authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance,
as amended, to evidence said rezoning, to-wit:
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof as
if fully set forth herein.
(Said property, approximately 13 .49 acres, is located
south of N.E. lOth Street and east of Union Avenue N.E. )
SECTION II. This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval, and five days after its publication.

SENESCU ANNEXATION
That portion of the SW �4 of the NW �/4 of Section 10, Township 23 North, Range 5 East, W.M. described
as follows:
Commencing at the NW corner of the SW �/a of the NW �/4 of saic� Section 10, thence easterly along the
north line of said subdivision a distance of 30 feet to the point of beginning, said point also being on the
existing City limits of Renton as annexed by Ordinance #2000;
Thence continuing easterly along the north line of the SW '/4 of the NW �4 of said section, said
subdivision line also being the centerline of NE lOth Street, and the existing City limits as annexed by
Ordinance #2000, a distance of 375.00 feet; �
4 Thence southerly perpendicular to the north line of the SW �/4 of the NW �/4, and along the existing Ciry
limits as annexed by Ordinance #2423, a distance of 160.02 feet; .

Thence easterly along a line parallel with the north line of said subdivision, said line also being the
existing City limits line as annexed by Ordinance #2423, a distance of 131.06 feet to a point 100 feet
westerly of, as measured at right angles to, the east line of the NW '/a of the SW �/4 of the NW �/4 of Section
10, said point being on the existing City limits as annexed by Ordinance #2423.
Thence northerly along a line parallel with and 100 feet westerly of said east line, said line also being the
existing City limits as annexed by Ordinance #2423, a distance of 25 feet more or less to a point which
lies 135 feet southerly of, as measured at right angles to, the north line of the SW '/4 of the NW �/4 of
Section 10;
Thence easterly along a line parallel with and 135 feet southerly of said north line, said line also being the
existing Ciry limits as annexed by Ordinance #2307, a distance of 100 feet to the east line of the NW '/a of
the SW 1/4 of the NW �/4 of said Section 10; �
Thence southerly along said east line, said line also Ueing the existing City limits as annexed by
Ordinance #2307, and also being the west line of the Plat of Honeydew Estates as recorded in Volume
100 of Plats, Page 29, Itecords of King Counry Washington, a distance of 193.44 feet, more or less, to the
southwest corner of said Plat, said SW corner also being on the north line of the S �i of the N �iz of the
SW '/a of the NW '/4 of Section 10;
Thence easterly along said north line, said line also being the existing Ciry limits as annexed by
Ordinance #2307, and the south line of said plat, to the southeast corner, thereof;

Thence continuing easterly along said north line, said north line also being the existing Ciry limits as
�I annexed by Ordinance #2210, to the east line of the W '/z of the NW '/4 of Section 10;
Thence southerly along said east line to the south line of the N 'fi of the SW '/4 of the NW '/a of Section
10, said south line also being the City limits as annexed by Ordinance #3058;
Thence westerly along said south line and said existing City limit.line to the easterly right-of-way line of
Union Avenue NE, said easterly right-of-way line also being the existing City limit line as annexed by
Ordinance #1981;
Tlience northerly along said easterly right-of-way line, and said existing City limit line, and its northerly
extension, to an intersection with the north line of the SW '/4 of the NW '!a of Section 10, at a point
which lies 30 feet east, as measured along said north line, from the NW corner of said subdivision and
the point of beginning.
