RESOLUTION N0. � �J�o �
WHEREAS the City of Rer.ton heretofore passed Resolution
No. 1750 under date of July 12 , 1971 proposing the annexation o�'
certain properties located generally northeast of the present City
limits , and
WHEREAS said matter has been duly considered by the
Boundary Review Board, after due notice and public hearing as
required by law and said Boundary Review Board having heretofore �
issued its written decision dated September 23 , 1971, and
WHEREAS within ten days after the filing of said decision
with the City of Renton, certain property owners have filed their
protest with the Boundary Review Board of King County and the City
of Renton praying that they be deleted from any such proposed
annexation, and the City Courcil having duly determined, at its
regular public hearing on October 4, 1971, that such petition and
protest � proper and reasonable under the circumstances, NOW
THEREFORE
BE IT R�SOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF RENTON, as follows :
SECTION I : The above findings and recitals are hereby
found to be true and correct.
SECTION II : The City Council hereby determines that the
following described parcel of property, consisting primarily of
approximately 20 residences located along Hazelwood Lane be deleted
from the proposed annexation proceedings, to-wit :
� THAT portion of the South one-half of the South on-half . '
of Section 20, Township 24 North, Range 5 East; W.M. __ '
BEGINNING at. the intersection of the inner harbnr linP �f Lake
Washington with t!�e North line of the South one-half of the South one- '
half of said Section 20, Township 24 No rth , Range 5 East, W.M. ; thence � '
Easterly along said line to the Easterly margin of FAI Highway No. 405; �
thence Southerly along the Easterly margin of said Highway a distance .
of 1200 feet, more or less , to its intersection with the Easterly pro-
duction of the Southerly line of Lot 34, Block A, C. D. Hillman's Lake ; '
� Washington Garden of Eden Division No. 3, according to the plat recorded G ',
in volume 11 of plats , page 81 , records of King County, Washington; thence , � ,
� - � ��Westerly along said Easterly production and the Southerly line of said Lot
34 and its production Westerly to its intersection with the inner harbor .
line of Lake Washington ; thence Northerly along the inner harbor line of
Lake Washington a distance of 1200 feet, more or less , to its intersection
with the North line of the South one-half of the South one-half of said i

and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forward a
certified copy of this resolution to the King County Boundary Review
�oard requesting a reconsideration of its prior decision so as to
delete the above described area from such proposed annexation and
good cause appearing for such deletion.
