R-Q81-89) . WHEREAS, under Chapter �, Title IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 known as the "Code of General Qrdinances of the City of Renton, " as amended, and the maps and reports adapted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretafore been zaned as R-1 �Single-Family Residential} ; and WHEREAS, the City of Renton initiated a proceeding fc�r change of zane classification of said property on or abaut September 19, 1989, which petition was duly referred to the hearing examiner for investigation, study, and public hearing, and a public hearing having been held thereon on or about September 26, 1989, and said matter having been duly considered by the hearing examiner, and said zoning r�quest being in conformity with the city' � camprehensive plan, as amended, and the city council having duly considarad alI matters relevant thereta, and al� parties havirig been heard appearing in support thereof or in apposition thereto; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, tA7ASHINGTUN, DO ORDAIN AS FdLLOt�7S: SECTION I : Ths fallowing described property in the City of Renton is hereby rezoned ta P-1 (Public Use} , as hereinbelow specified, subject tca the findings, canclusions, and decision of the hearing examiner dated actober 4, 2989, and the Planning Manager is 2 s � « i , t ORDINANCE NO. 4247 hereby authorized and directed to change the maps af the Zoning Ordinance, as amended, to evidence said rezoning, ta-wit: See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereaf as if fully set forth herein. (Said property, approximately 3 . 79 acres, being loca�.ed east of the intersection of N.E. Third Street and Branson W�y N.E. } SECTION II : This Qrdinance shall be effective upon its passage, approval, and five days after its publication.
