WHEREAS the belowmentioned Department and Classifications have been required
to meet certain obligations and expenditures, the exact amount and type thereof having
not Been foreseeable at the time of the adoption of the 1964 Budget, and
WHEREAS it is necessary for the proper operation and maintenance of the
belowmentioned department to transfer funds between items as provided by law, and said
transfer being in the public interest and for the public benefit, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: The City Clerk and the City Treasurer are hereby authorized to
make the following transfer, to-wit: effective as of December 31, 1964.
FROM: Street Maintenance, 3240 - Account 201
Statewide, Social Security $2,460.00
UNTO: Non-Departmental, 1920 - Account 201
Statewide, Social Security $2,460.00
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 11th day of January, 1965.
