' WHEREAS a petition has been filed with the Ci.ty Clerk .of che City of Rentan

on or about Agust 5, 1963 pe�ii:ioning for the vacation of certain streets and ai38y� � �
as hereinafter more particularly described and sai�i petition being signed by tche owners
� of more than two-thirds of the property abutting upon said streets and alleys,(to-wit: /

� 100'/0 of the abuttingawners) sought to be vacated, and same bei�g described as follows:
� 1. That portion of 9th Avenue South between the East margin of 94th

Avenue South and West margin of 96th Avenue South.
2. That portion of South 148th Street (Memphis Avenue) between the
West margin of 94th Avenue South and the East property line of
PSH No. 5-C
3. That portion of 9th Place South between the East mergin of 94th
Avenue South and the West margin of 9bth Avenue South.
4. That portion of South 149th Street (Manning Avenue) between the
West margin of 94th Avenue South and the East property line of
PSH No.. 5-C
5. That portion of lOth Avenue South North of the North line of
PSS No. 1 aad lying between 94th �veniue South and 96th Avenue
South.
6. That portion of 94th Avenue South between the North line of
PSH No. 1 and the North msrgin of 9th Avenue South.
7. That portion of 96th Avenue South between the North line of
PSH No. 1 and the South margin of Grady Way ( South 147th Place)
8. The sixtesn-foot alley between the East margin of 94th Avenue
South and the West margin of 96th Avenue South in Block �612.
9. The sixteen-foot alley between the East margin of 94th Avanue
South and the West margin of 96th Avenue South in B2ock #11.
10. The sixteen-foot alley in Block �24 between �he West margin
of 94th Avenue South and the East liae of PSH No. 5-C
11. The sixteen-foo� a21ey in Block ��15 between the West margin
of 94th Avenue Sout�h and the East line of PSH No. 5-C
NOk' THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF RENTON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: That the 9th day of September, 1963 at the hour of 8:00 P.M. at
the City Council Chambers in the City Hall of the City of Renton, King County, Washington
be and it is hereby fixed as the time and place when the aforesaid petition for vaceting
the aforedescribed streets ar►d alleys shall be heard and determfned.
The City Clerk is hereby authorixed and directed to give notice of said time
and hearing as provided by law; and any and all persons interested therein or objecting
to said vacation m�y then appear and be heard thereon, or they may file their written
objections thereto with the City Clerk prior to or at the time of the hearing on said
vacation. The City of R:�nton also reserves the right to retain an easement for utility

and other public purposes within said streets and alleys sought to be vacated.
