� hereby acaended to read as fallows:
�I St�ction 1-250I (D}, as amended: In any case in which an employee s�a21 be
eatitled to benefits or payments under the Work�an's Comgensatian Act or sia��lar
legislatioa of the SCate af Washir��ton or ac�y other'Governmental unit, the Citp af Rentoa
�, shall pay only the difference between the benefita and payaeats received under such Act
I by such ec�playee and t�i.s re�ala� rate of compensation that }�e would have�received from the
i �ity of Renton if able to work. The fcsreg4ing payment or contribut�on by the City shall
�e lic+ited to the periodof ti�e that such employee had accumulated sicit leave credits
_ �s hereinabove specified. FurChermore, the si�ck leave benefits herein specffied shall not
�e applicab2e to any ez�g2oyee who is covered ander aay Reiief aad Pensian Act ar similar
� �agislatior� groviding for sickness a�ci/or disability payments, of the SCate of Washington

or any ather governmental unit grar�ting substantial}.y equa2 �r greater beaefits than
