AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHING3'ON, CHANGING
THE ZONING CLASSIFIACTIOi� OF CERTAIN PROPERTY t��ITHIN THE
CITY OF RENTON FROM RESII�EI3TIAL DISTRICT (R-2) to RESI£1�NTIAL
' DISTRICT (R-3)�
� WHEREAS under Chapter VII, Title IV (Business Regulations) of �rdinanC�
Y�o. 1628 known as the "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton", as amendec�y
a�d the maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described '
has heretofare been zoned as Residential District (R-2), and
W HEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property
h2s been filed with the City Clerk on or about January 5, 1966, which petition was
then duly referred to the Planning Commission for investigation, study and public -
hearing, and a public hearing having been held thereon on or about January 26, 1966,
ail pursuant to notice of hearing duly published and posted as provided by law; and
said matter having been duly considered by the Planning Commission, and said rezonir�
bning in conformity with the City's Comprehensive P1ans, and all parties having been
heard appearing in support thereof or in op�osition thereto, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BX THE MAYDR AND THE CIT`Y COiJNCIL OF THE CITY OF REN'FON AS
Z'OTILOWS:
SECTION I: The following described property in the City of Ren�on is here:;�
rezoned to Residential District (R-3j; the City Engineer and the Planning Director
are hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance, as
�mended, to evidence said rezoning, as follows:
Lots 5, 5 and 7, Block 2, Graceland Terrace, Renton, Washington
(Property located in the 1100 Block on K SCreet, Renton, Washington)
SECTZON II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and legal publicatinn.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 14th day of February, 1966.
