WHERFAS under the provisions of R.C.W. 35.13.130, as acnended� a petition in writing requesting that certain territary contiguous to the city liaits of the CITY OF RENTON, as hereinafter rsore particularly described, be annexed to the CITY was duly presented and filed with the City Clerk on or About Deceaber 27 , 1965; and WHER�AS prior to the filing and circulation of said petitior► for annexation, the petitioning owners had duly n�tified the City Council of their intention to com�ence such proceedings as provided by law and upon public hearing thereon, it having been determined and the petitioning owners having so sgreed to assuroe the pre-existing bonded indebtedness of the CITY OF RENTON as sa�ae pertains to the territory petitioned to be annexed as further specified in R.C.G1. 35.13.25 et seq; and WHEREAS the C ity Engineer has duly exar�ined and verified the signatures thereon and deternined the assessed valuation of all the properties , the sa�e being in excess of 75% of the area so petitioning in value as provided by law; which petition also sets forth the legal description of. the property according to governnental Iegal subdivision or p2at, and the Planning Coc�r.tission of the CiTY OF REN'It�N having duly considered and recoamended the annexing of said property to the CITY; and WH�RFAS a Board of Review was duly called as provided by law but its pro- eeedings having been dispensed with upon agreecent of the caajority of the �e�bers af such Board of Review; and WHEREAS the City Council fixed March 14, 1966 at the City Councii Charabers in the City Hall as the tic�e and place for public hearing upon said petition, notice thereof having been given as provided by law; and WHEREAS pursuant to such notice, a public hearing has been held at the ti�te and place specified in the aforesaid notice, and the City- Council having duly cora- sidered all natters in connection with said petition and further determined that all legal requireraents and procedures of the law have been fully complied with; NOW T�iEREFORE BE IT ORI�INED BY THE MAYOR AND Z'HE CITY CAUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENT�ON AS �LLOWS: SECTION I: The aforesaid findings and recitals are hereby found to be true and correct in all respects. It is feurther deter�ined that the above nentioned pe tition for anttexation to the CITY dF RENTQN �f the property and territory hereinbelow des- cribed be and the sane is hereby approved and granted; and the following described property, being contiguous to the City Li�its of the CITY OF REN1'ON, be and the sane -1- i . , , � I., , • ; is hereby annexed to the CITY OF �tEI3'IC)N and such annexation to be effective on and after the approval, passage and publication of this Ordinance; and on and after said date said territory shall be and constitute a part of the CITY OF i2EIS�N and shall be subject to all its laws and ocdinances then and therea£ter in force; said property :�ing described as follows: Tract 2, Block 1, of Aker's Par�:s No. 6 as rec�rded in Volucae 42 of Plats � page 15, records of fCing County, Washington EXCEPT that portion described as follows: Beginnin� at the southeast corner of said Tract 2; thence north 88°30'40" west along the north c�argin of SE 162ad Street I05.69 feet; thence north 42�23'09" west 221.85� thence north 1°3 3'43" east parallel with the east Zine o€ said Tract 2 a distance of 110.42 feet; thence south 88°46'4S" east parallel with the north line of said Tract 2 a distance of 260.67 feet to a point oa said east line of Tract 2 which is south 1fl33'43" west 245.65 feet froc� the northeas t eorn�:r thereof; thence south 1°33'43" west along said east Iine to the p�int of beginning.
