RENTON FROM RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (R-2) 'In LIGHT INDUSTI2Y (L-1)
WHEREAS under Chapter VII , Title IV CBuilding Regulations) of Ordinance No.
162$ known as the "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton", as amended, and
the maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has I
heretofore been zoned as RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT (R-2) , and
GJHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classification of said property
has been filed with the City Clerk on or about April 4, 1966, which petition was then
duly referred to the Planning Commission for investigation, study and public hearing,
and a pub2ic hearing having been held thereon on or about A pril 27, 2966, alI pursuant
to notice of hearin dul ublished and osted as rovided b law• and said matter

having been duiy considered by the Planning Commission, and said re2oning request

heard appearing in support thereof or in opposition thereto, I�W THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REN�ON AS
FOLLOGJS:
SECTION I: The £ollowing described property in the City of Qenton is hereby
rezoned to Light Industry (L-2) District; the City Engineer and the Planning Director
are hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning 0 rdinance, as
amended, to evidence said rezoning, to-wit:
Lots 11 and 12, Bluck 11, Car Works Addition to Renton, according to
plat thereof recorded in Volume 15 of Plats, page 47� records o€
King County, State o£ Washington.

SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force a nd effect from and after
its passage, approval and legal publication.
