AN ORDINANCE OF TftE CITY OF REI3TON, WASHI�TGTON, C1�ANGIAIG THE
ZOI3ING CLASSIRICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN TIiE CITY OF
RENTON FRiDM SUIiURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT (S-I) TO LLGHT INDUS-
TRY DISTRICT {L�1)
WHEREAS under Chapter VII, Tit1e IV J�(Building Regu2ations) of Ordinance No.
1628 known as the "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton�', as amended,
aad the maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described
has heretofore beeu aoned as SUBURBAI�I RESSDENCE DISTKICT (S-1), and
WHEREAS, a proper petition €or change of zone classification af said property
has been filed with tche City Clerk on or about Nlay 31, 1966, which petition was then
duly referred to the Planning Commission for investigation, study and publ-ic hearing,
and a public hearing having been he�d thereou on or about June 22, 196b, all pursuant
to notice of heariag duly publfshed and posted as provided by law; and said matter
having been du}.y considered by the P2anning Commissinn, aad said rezoning request
being in�canformity Frith the City`s Comprehensive P�.afis and all parties having been
heard appearing in support thereof or. in opposition �hereto, PIOW THERERORE
BE IT ORAAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CflUNGIL OF THE CIT`Y OF RE1�ITTON AS
FOLI.OWS: �I
SECTION I: The following described property in the City of Rentou is hereby I�
rezoned to Light Zadustry District (E-1) ; the City Engineer and the Planning
Director are hereby suthorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoniag Ordi�
aance,��.,�s amended, to evidence safd rezoning, to-wit:
Lots `18, 19, Z0, 21 and 22, except that portion of Lot 18 deec2ed to the
State of Washfngton for Highway purposes--Auditor's File No. 5428430;
all in Block Zb; all in C.D. Hillman's Earlington Gardens Addition to
the City of Seattle Divisian No. 1, as per glat Yecorded in Volume 17 of Platsi•
page 74, records af ICing County; sftuate in the City of Renton, County of
King, State of Washington.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in fuli force and effect from and after
i�s passage, approval and legal publication.
