APi OR�INI�CE OF THE CITY OF REN�ON, WASHINGTON, DECLARING ,
THAT AN EMERGENCY EXiSTS AND APPROPRIATING MONIES FOR THE
PURYOSE OF PROVIDII�G FUNDS FOR THE CITY'S ARTERIAL STREET
FUND AND THE FIRE DEPARTMENT FUND NECESSITATED BY StTCH
EI�RGENCY. -
WHEREAS since the adoption of the 1967 Annual Budget of the City of �ton,
it has become necessary to provide for the expenditure of certain funds by the
Arterial Street Fuad and the Fire Departmeat Fund for the improvemeat of certain
arterial streets and firestatioa site developments respectively, aad such expecxditures
being aecessary and required and being in khe pubiic interest and for the public
welfare, and -
GJ�iER�AS it is necessary for tne proper administratfon, operation sud
maiatenance o€ the City to appropriate funds for the payment of such expenditures
as above set forth, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY TEiE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REAtTON,
WASAIIdGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The forego3ng recitals and facts are hereby found acid
determined by the City Council to be true and existing �ad by reaso n thereof the
Couctcil hereby declares that an emergency exiets, requirfag the iaimediate performauce
of certain resurfacing work on Rainfer Avenue and the improvement of Fire Stati.on
Site No. 3 and trainiag grounds in connecti on therewith, respectively. �
SECTION II: That there be and fs hereby allowed and establisteed Che
following sums for expeaditures in the fol2owiag classifications and said sums are
appropriated as hereia_set.forth, to�wit; � •
UNTO: Arterial Street Fund, 3200/605 (A5P 3Tor $) $ 65,t�00.0U
UNTO: Fire Department 2200/602 - Capital Outlay $ SO,Q00.00
SECTION III: This ordinance is an emergency ordinaace which sha12 not
be voted upon until one week shalZ haveelapsed after its introduction, aad � copy
thereof shall be published aAd posted as a progosed Ordinance with notice of the time
s�C €or voting thereoa.
SF.CT�ON Id: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from ��d after
its passage, appro+�a2 and legal gublication.
