, AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON I,
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN
h PROPERTIES �n1ITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM PUBLIC �
USE (P-1) TO LIGHT INDUSTRY (L-1) AND BUSINESS
' PARKING (B-P)
t-+IHEREAS under Chapter VII9 Title IV (Building II
Regulations ) of Ordinance No. 1628 known as the a`Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Renton'' , as amended, and the maps
adopted in conjunction therewith , the property hereinbelow I
described has heretofore been zoned as Public Use (P--1) �
and
TaHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classification
of said property has been filed with the City Clerk on or
about Februar 5 1969 which etition was dul referred

to the Planning Commission for investigation , study and public I
hearing , and a public hearing having been held thereon on
or about February 26 , 1969 , and said matter having been duly
considered by the Planning Commission , and Petitioner-Owner
having duly amended his petition for zoning, and said rezoning
request as amended , being in conformity with the CityTs
Comprehensive Plan and all parties having been heard appearing
in support thereof or in opposition thereto , NOUd THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF RENTON, G7ASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS :
` SECTION I : The following described property in the
City of �enton is hereby rezoned to Light Industr.y (L-1) District ,
except as hereinbelow stated; the City Engineer and the Planning
Director are hereby authorized and directed to change the
maps of the Zoning Ordinance , as amended, to evidence said
rezoning , to�-wit :
(located on Logan St . bet . Airport Way � Cedar River)
Lots 19 , 20 , 21 and 22 , Block 4 , Renton Real Estate
Company' s First Addition to Renton, according to plat
thereof recorded in Volume 21 of plats , page 50 , records
of King County; Except the portion of said lots 21 � 22
condemned in King County Superior Court Cause No. 221409
for r/w of Commercial laaterway District No. 2 , a
Municipal Corporation; and Except that portion of said
lots 21 and 22 conveyed to City of Renton for street
purposes by deed recorded under Auditor' s file number
936873 , Records of said County and EXCEPT that p�rtion ,
of said lots 19 and 20 conveved to the State of �

Washington for highway purposes by deed recorded '
under Auditor' s file number 3250237 , records of
said County; TOGETHER with portion of the vacated
alley lying betwe�n said Lots 19 and 20 and said
Lots 21 and 22 ; EXCEPT that the East 10 feet of
said property abutting Logan Avenue and South 10 feet
abutting Airport Glay are hereby rezoned to Business
Parking (B�-P) .
SECTION II : This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage , approval and legal publication.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this �7�day ofi����� ,1969 .
