RESOLUTION NO. 1345
WHEREAS the City of Renton through its Mayor and City Council did on the
6th day of December, 1965 formally adopt the Renton Community Facilities Plan, and
now desires to obtain such Federal and State grants of matching funds for implementation
thereof as may be available under the 701 Outdoor Recreation and Open Space Plan,
through the (State and Federal) Washington Interagency Committee for Outdoor Recreatic:i;
NGW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON:
SECTION I: The City shall enter into, and the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to attest and impress the official
City Seal upon appropriate applications to such Interagency Committee for such grants
of funds in aid, and also appropriate Grant Agreements with said Interagency Committee,
upon the basis established by law for such fund contributions.
SECTION II: The City confirms that its aforesaid Community Facilities Plan
has been duly adopted, and that its six—year Action Program heretofore filed with
Interagency Committee has been and is hereby adopted and initiated; contemplating a
total program cost in the calendar year 1966 of $450,000,00 for land acquisition and
development for public park uses; all in concertwith and pursuant to aforesaid 701
Outdoor Recreation and Open Space Plan.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 6th day of December, 1965.
