OF RENTON. � � � ca ra � �, WHEREAS under the provisions of RCW 35 .13 .130 , as amended, i �`' a petition in wr_iting req.uesting that certain territory conti.guous � �' to the City of Renton, as hereinafter more parta.cularly described, c.� t� , be annexed to. the City of Reriton, was duly presented and filed with `t� the City Clerk on or abo.ut June'_: � �: .. 1976 , and � i d� WHEREAS prior to the filing and ci.rculation of said pet.ition � -�: for annexation to. the C.�ty of Renton, the .pet.i.tioning owners duly notified the City Council of their intenti.on to commence such pro- ceedings as provided by law, and as more particularly specified in RCW 35.13 .125 and upan public hearing ther.eon, it having been determined ar�d the pet:itioning owners having so agreed to assume the pre-existing bonded indebtedness of the City of Renton as same .pertains to the territory petitioned. to be annexed; and to accept .that portion of the Cityts. Comprehensive Plan as same pertains to. the subject territory including the applicable zoning code relating .thereto., and WHEREAS. the Planning Department has duly examined and verified �he signatures on said petition for annexation and determined the asses.sed valuati.on af all the properties , th.e same being in excess of 75% of the area to be annexed, in va.lue, as provided by law and said petition alsa se:t-ting forth the .legal description of the property according to .g.overnment legal subdivision or plat, and the Planning Commission of the City of Renton having duly considered I I and recommended the annexing of said property. to the City of Rentan; and WHEREAS the City Council fixed July 12, 1976 , at 8 : 00 P.M. as the time and place for public hearing in the City Council Chambers , City Hall, Resiton, Washington, upon said petition and notice thereof having been .duly given as provided by Iaw, and WHEREAS pursuant to said notice a public hearing has been held at the time and place speci,�i,ed in the aforesaid notice � � � - - , ,� � •t+•� w' . . � � • . � '.' � . � �� and the Cauncil having duly considered a11 matters in connection with saa,d petita.on and further determined that alI legal requirements and procedures c�f the law applicabl.e to. -�he .petition methcid far � annexation as speci�'ied in RCW 35..13.130 et _seq. have been duly complied � � caith, � WHEREAS a proper "Notice of Intention" having been filed � � - '�,,�'""„� with �he Ka.ng County Boundary Review Board as required by law, and said Boundary Rev:iew Board having duly waived its juri.sdicti.an -�hereover as per its letter dated �ugust 1�, 1976.
