AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY. OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
CHAPTER 20 OF TITLE IV (BUILDING REGULATIONS) OF ORDINANCE
N0. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY
OF RENTON, WASHINGTON" RELATING. TO "MOBILE� HOME PARK� AND
THE POSITION OF "H£ARTNG EXAMINER" AS SET FORTH IN CITY.
OF RENTON ORDINANCE N0 . 3071. -
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY. OF RENTON, WASHING.TON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS.:
' SECTION I: Whenever reference is made in said Chapter 20
of Title IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code
of General Ordinances of the City of Reritan" to the term "Planning
Commission" including b.ut not limiting it .to Sections 4-20Q2 , 4-2003 ,
4-2004, 4-2005, 4-2006 , then in any such case,: the :term "HEARING EXAMINER"
shall be substituted therefor.
SECTION II : Existing subs:ections 3 and 4. of Secti.on 4-2004_
of Title .IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance' No. 1628 entitled "Code
of General Ordinancesof the City of Renton" is hereby amended as follows:
� Section 4-:2004; �.:.;;a����ded:. .:P��I;IrTINARY PLAN REQUTREMENTS
3 . Date "arid Notice df Hear'ing . The Prel�minary Plan shall
be considered at the �irst regular hearing of the Hearing Examiner to
- b�:, set twerity. one (21) days or more after .submission �z� :and
acceptance by the Planning Department. The Planning Department
shall cause a notice of public hearing to be published once
in the City' s legal newspaper, giving. time and place. thereof,
and such noti.ce .shall bepost.e.d in thr_ee .(3.) conspicuous places.
withi:n the City and on or adjacent to the .land to be developed
at least .ten (1.0) days prior to any such hearing. . The Hearing
Examiner may req.uest the Planning Departmerit to give .additional
notice, as it deems reasonabl.y necessary, to adjacent land-
owners and oth.er parties: direct� involved in such development.

4. Recommeridatioris to Hear'ing �EXam'irier�. . The Planning Department

" shall transmit .the applica�tion, the pro�osed mobi.le home
park �lan and the respective recommen.dations of City departments
and other public agencies, to-gether with the Planning
' Department recommendations to. the Hearing Examiner for study
at least seven (�7) days prior. to any such hearing.
SECTION I�II: All other Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION IV: Th.is Ordinance .shall be ef.fective upon its
passage, approval srid five .days after .its publ.ication.
