ORDINANCE N0. 3_�00
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
CHAPTER 14 of TITLE IV (BIJILDING REGULATIONS) OF
ORDINANCE N0. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES
OF THE CITY OF RENTON" RELATING TO COMPREHENSIVE PLAN
AND AMENDMENTS THERETO
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I : Existing Section 4-.1405 of Title IV (Building
Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances
of the City of Renton" is hereby amended to read as follows :
Section 4-1405, as amended: AMENDMENT:' It shall be the
duty of the Planning Commission to continue to observe the development
of the City and its environs in n�ation to the Plan and to prepare
reports and submit same to the City Council from time to time, and
c�henever necessary, after proper study and deliberation, amendments
may be recommended by. the Commission to the City Council of this
Comprehensive Plan.
Applications by a property owner or somebody authorized to
act on such owner's behalf to amend: the Comprehensive Plan, shall be
filed with the Planning Department at which time such appiication
shall be accompanied by a fee of One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($I50 . 00) .
SECTION II : �ny and all Ordinances or parts of Orctinances
in conflict herewith are her.eby repealed.
SECTION III : This Ordinance shall be. effective on and
after January l, 1.977 and upon its passage, approval and f ive ( 5)
days after its publication.
