AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING SECTION 1-601 OF TITLE I (ADMINISTRATIVE)
OF ORDINANCE N0 . 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL
� ORDINANCES OF THE CITY. OF RENTON" RELATING TO
COMMITTEES OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND PROVIDING FOR
CONSOLIDATION
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Existing Section� 1-601, sub-sections .�(A) , (B�
Chapter 6
and (I)/of Title I (Administrative) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled
"Code of General O�dinances of the City of Renton" entitled "Committee
on Public Works � Transportation'r , "Committee on Public Safety" and
"Committe.e on Aviation" , respectively, are hereby consolidated and
combined into one standing committee to be hereafter known as "PUBLIC
SERVICES COMMITTEE" . All of the provisions and duties imposed upon
each of said committees shall likewise apply to the "Public Services
Committee" .
SECTION II: Existing Section 1-601, subsections (D) and
(F) of Chapter 6, Title I (Administrative) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled
"Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" entitled "Committee
on Finance and Personnel" and "Committee on Legislation and Inter-
Governmental Affairs", respectively, are hereby consolid��edc; and
combined into one standing committee to be hereafter known as "WAY�S�'.AND
MEANS COMMITTEE" . Al1 of the provisions and duties imposed upon each
of said committees shall likewise apply to the "Ways and Means Committee"::
SECTION III : All other terms and provisions of Chapter
6 of Title I (Administrative) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled " o

modified herein, shall remain in full force and effect.

SECTION IV: Any and all ordinances or parts of ordinances

in conflict herew.ith a�e hereby repealed.
�ECTION V: Thi:s Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect on and after January l, 1977, and after its passage, approval
and five days after its legal publication.
