� AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,

� AMENDING THE CITY' S COMPREHENSIVE LAND USE PLAN
� AND MAPS AND DATA IN CONJUNCTION THEREWITH
RELATING TO CERTAIN PROPERTIES IN THE GENERAL
VICINITY. QF NORTH 30TH STREET -- PARK AVENUE
NORTH .TO FAI-405 (KENNYDALE) , RENTON, WASHINGTON
� WHEREAS the Planning Commission of the City of Renton
and the City Council have heretofore adopted and filed a "Comprehensive
Land Use Plan" as evidenced by Resolution No. 1240 , and Ordinance No .
2142, and as same have been implemented and amended from time to time,
together with the adoption of various codes , reports. and records , and
WHEREAS since said adoption the Planning Commission has
heretofore duly recommended to_ the City Council, from time to time,
certain amendments to said City' s "Comprehensive Land Use Plan" ; and
WHEREAS the Planning Commission held a public hearing on
or about October 27, 1976, and said hearing h�ing been continued to
December g, 1976, and
WHEREAS the Planning Commission has inade certain findings
and recommendations to the City Council of the City of Renton, and
i WHEREAS the City Council held a public hearing on this
matter on February 14 , 1977 and all parties appearing in favor of
or in opposition to said amendment to the City' s Comprehensive Land
Use Plan having been duly heard at such .public hearing, and
WHEREAS the City Council has duly determined, after due
consideration of the testimony and evidence before it that it is
advisable and appropriate to amend and modify the City' s"Comprehensive
Land Use Plan" and likewise modify and amend the recommendations of the
Planning Commission, and such amendment and modification being in the
best interest and for the public benefit; NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO I

SECTTON I:, The. aforestated findings and recitals �e
� hereby found to be true and correct in all respects , and the City
I � Council hereby modifies and amends the recommendations and findings of
the Planning Commission as hereinbelow set forth.
SECTION II: The City of Renton' s "Comprehensive Land Use Plan"
and maps , data and reports in conjunction therewith are hereby modified
and amended, pursuant to the .public hearings .held in connection therewith
as hereinabove s ecified, which amendments and modifications relate to

the. following described properties , to-wit:
See Exhibit "A" attached her.eto and made a part
her.eof as if fully set forth herein.
and said properties described in said Exhibit are hereby designated
, as"Commercial" and "Single Family Residential" as specified on said
Exhibit on said "Camprehensive Land Use Pla'n" and any and all other
plans and records pertaining thereto.
SECTIO�i III: The Planning Director is hereby authorized
and directed to make the necessary changes on said City' s "Comprehensive
Land Use Plan" and the maps in conjunction therew.ith. to evidence .the
aforedescribed amendment.
SECTION IV: The City Clerk is further authorized and
directed to file this �rdiance,ias provided by law, and a complete copy of
said document likewise being on file with the office of the City Clerk
of the City of Renton.
SECTION V: � This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
