� AN' ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
VACATING A PORTION OF ALLEY WITHIN BLOCK 12 ' ,
IN THE P.LAT OF CAR ti30RKS ADDITION TO RENTON, '
AS MORE FARTICULARLY DESCRIBED BELOW
WHEREAS a proper petition for vacating a portion af.�a
certain alley within Bb.ck 12 in the Plat of Car Works Addition to
� Renton, King County, �Washington, was duly filed with the City , ��,

C.� Clerk on or abo.ut April 28 , 1976, and said petition having beeri

. � signed by owners' representing more than two�thirdsof the property

�`" abutting upon such alley sought to be vacated; and
�
WHEREAS the City Council by Resolution No. 2038 passed
and appraved on May 17, 1976 and after due investigation; did f ix
and determine the 2.8th day of .June, 1976, at the hour of 8 : 00 P.M�
in th.e City Council Chambers of the City of Renton to be the time
and place for a publ.ic hearing thereon, anc� the City. Clerk having
given due notice of such hearing in the manner provided by law,
and all persons having been heard appearing in favor or in opposition
thereto; and . • I
WHEREAS the Department .of Public Works and the Planning
Department .of the City of Re.nton having duly considered said petition I
for said vacation, and having found same to be in the public interest
and for the public benefit, and no injury or damage to any person
or properties will result from such vacation;
NOW THEREFORE,d.THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO O�ZDAIN AS FOLLOWS: � � �
SECTTON I�: The following described portion of alley
within Block 12 in the Plat of Car Works Addition. to Renton, to-wit:
All th� portion of a 16 foot c�zide alley lying between
the southerly line of lots 1 and 2 on the north and
the northerly lines of lots 17 and 18 on the south,
said lots being within Block 12 , Car Works Addition to
Renton as recorded in Volume 15 of Plats , page 47 ,
records of King County, Washington and lying easterly
, of the easterly right�of-way margin of �'actory Avenue
North and West.erly of the westerly right-of-way margin
of North 3rd Place .
