AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON; I
ESTABLISHING THE CITY OF RENTON UNEMPLOYMENT �
COMPENSATION FUND AND PRO.VIDING FOR INI'I'IAL
FUNDING �
THE CITY 00UNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
, ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS : . �

SECTION I: There is hereby created and est bl shed
fund to be entitled "City of Renton Unemployment Compensati,on Fund"; #608.
, The pur�ose of said fund is to provide a means of disbursing payments
for unemploymen"t compensation for which the City may become liable
from time to time, effective as of January l; 1978 .
SECTION II : The Director of Finance is hereby authorized
and directed to iriitially deposit the sum of $5 ,000 . 00 into the
"City of Renton Unemployment Compensation Fund" and all disbursements
from said fund shall be limited to the payments of unemployment
compensation f or which the City may become liable and for no other
purpose or purposes . �
SECTION III : The Personnel Director is hereby authorized
and directed to file the necessary documents with the State of
' Washington evidencing the City' s selection of the reimbursable
method for unemployment compensation.
The Personnel Director is further authorized and directed
to negotiate an appropriate contract with the Gibbons Company, Inc.
. of Bellevue �or the purpose of administrating the unemployment �compen-
