AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING CHAPTER 11 OF TITLE IX (PUBLIC WAYS
AND PROPERTY) OF ORDINANCE N0. 1628 ENTITLED
' "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON"
RELATING TO FEES FOR PRELIMINARY AND FINAL PLATS
OF INDUSTRIAL SUBDIVISIONS

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,WASHINGTON DO I
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: I
• SECTION I: Existing subsection 2� A. of Section 9-1106
. of Chapter 11, Title IX, ofi Ordinance No . 1628 entitled "Code of
_ . General Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended to read
as � follows: �
Section 9-1106 2 A. , as amended: Proposed Plat, Fees ,
Date of Hearing. The Preliminary Plat shall be�.prepared by a .registered
' land surveyor in accordance with requirements o� RCW 18 . 43 . 010 : The
application shall be submitted with eigh�t ( 8 ) copies plus the original �
to the Planning Department who shall .record the date received and
' assign a file number. The application shall be accompanied by a fee
in the amount of one hundred dollars ( $100 . 00) plus eight dollars ( $8 . 00)
per residential lot in the proposed residential subdivision. The
Preliminary Plat fee for industrial subdivision shall be two hundred
dollars ( $200 . 00) plus twenty dollars ($20 . 00 ) per acre . The Preliminary
Plat shall be assigned a hearing date by the Planning Department .
SECTION II: Existing subsection 3 B . of Section 9-1106
of Chapter 11, Title IX, of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of
General Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended to read
as f ollows : ' .
Section 9-1106 3 B. , as amended: (Final Plat Requirements)
Fees : Alternate Dedications of Land. ' The Final Plat shall be accompanied
by a fee of fifty dollars ( $50 . 00) plus four dollars ( �4 :00) per
residential lot. The Final Plat fee for industrial subdivision is
one hundred dollars ($100 ..00) plus ten do�lars ( $10 . 00) per acre. In
any proposed subdivision the subdivider may elect to dedicate or

reserve in a perpetual recreational, open space or other general
public use any land area of not �ess than ten percent (l0o) of the total
land area in lieu of the application fees required for approval of
the Preliminary and �'inal Plats , provided further that such dedication
or reservation of land shall be acceptable to the City.
SECTION III: Any and all ordinances or parts of ordinances ,
in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. � .
SECTION I.V: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval and five days after its legal publication.
