AN ORDINANCE O.F THE CITY OF RENTON, T�IASHINGTON,
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTIES WITH7�N THE CITY OF RENTON FROM HEAVY
INDUSTRIAL 1�ISTRICT (H-1 ) AND BUSINESS DISTRICT (B-1 )

WHEREAS unr�er Chapter 7 , Title IV (Building Regulations) of
Ordinance No. 1628 known �s the "Code of General Ordinances of
the City �f Renton" , as amended , and the maps an�1 reports adopted
in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbnlow described has
heretofore been zoned as Heavy Industrial District (H-1 ) and
Business District (B-1 ) ; and
WHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classification
of said property has been filed with the Building & Zoning
D�partment on or about March 13, 1987, which petition was duly
referred to th� Hearing Examiner for investi�ation, study and
public hearing , and a public hearing having been held thereon on
or about June 16, 1987, and said matter having been duly
considered by th� Hearing Examiner and said zonin� requ�st b2inc�
in conformity with the City' s Comprehensive Plan, as amended, and
the City Council having duly considered all matters relevant
thereto, and all parties having been heard appearing in support
thereof or in opposition ther2t�, NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described property in the City of
Renton is hereby rezoned to Busin�ss District (B-1 ) as

hereinbelow specified; subject to the findings, conclusions and
decision of the Hearing Examiner dated June 25, 1987; the
Building and Zonin� DirPctor is hereby authorized an� directed to
change th� maps af the Zoning Ordinance, as amende�, to evidence
said rezoning , to-wit :
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and ma�e a p�rt hereof
as if fully set forth herein. )
(Said property being located south o� South Grady W�y,
north of I-405, east of Rainier .Avenue, and south and
west of Talbot Road South. )
SECTIO� II : This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval and five days after its publication.
