-� WHEREAS a proper petition for vacating a portian of So. 7th Street, Renton,
c�-
�`'~ King County, Washington, was duly filed with the City Clerk on or about �une 20,
a '
�' 197$, and said petition having been signed by awners representing more than two-thirds
;'=..' of the property abutting upon such street sought ta be vacated; and
� .
� WHEREAS the City Council by Resolution Na. 2198 passed and approved or�
� �uly 10, 1978, and after due investigation, did fix and determine the 7th day of August,
� 1978, at the hour of $:OQ P.M. in the City Council Chambers of the City of Renton
to be the time and place far a public hearing thereon, and the Ci#y Clerk having given
due r�atice af such hearing in the manner provided by law, and all persons having been
heard appearing in favor or in opposition thereto; and
WHEREAS the Department af Public Works and the Pianning Department of
the City of Renton having duly eonsidered said petition for said vacation, and having
found same to be in the public interest and for the p�blic benefit, and no injury c�r
damage to,any person or properties will;result-�fram such vacation;
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL (JF THE CITY QF F,ENTON,

WASHINGZON, DU URDAIN AS FULLOWS:
SECTI�N �I:� The followir�g described portion af street, to-wit:
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereaf as
if fully set forth herein.
BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY VACATED SUB�ECT to an easement over, acrass,
under and on alI af the aforedescribed praperty in favor of the City for utility and
related purposes. °, ' �
SECTION II: The City Council hereby elects to charge a fee of $7,948.1Q
to Petitioner-Owners, said amount not exceeding one-half of the City's appraisal of
the right-of-way interest herein vacated, and such charge being reasonable and proper.
SECTI�N III; This Ordinanee shall be effeciive upon its gassage, approval
and five days after its publicat'ian.
