AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY.OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICA'T'ION OF CERTAIN
PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM PUBLIC
DISTRICT (P-1) TO BUSINESS DISTRICT (B-1) (R-001-86
BLENCOE)
WHEREAS under Chapter 7, Title IV (Building Regulations)
of Ordinance No. 1628 known as the "Code of General Ordinances of the
City of Renton", as amended, and the maps and reports adopted in
conjunction therewith, the property herein below described has hereto-
fore been zoned as Public District (P-1.); and
WHEREAS a proper petition for change of zone classification
of said property has been filed.with the Building and Zoning Department
on or about January 13, 1986, which petition was duly referred to the
Hearing Examiner for investigation, study and public hearing, and a
public hearing having been held thereon on or about February 18, 1986
and said matter having been duly considered by the Hearing Examiner
and said zoning request being in conformity with the City's Comprehensive
Plan, as amended, and the City Council having duly considered all
matters relevant thereto, and all parties having been heard appearing
in support thereof or in opposition thereto,.NOW THEREFORE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: The following described property in the City
of Renton is hereby rezoned to Business District (B-1) as hereinbelow
specified; subject to the findings, conclusions and decisions of
the Hearing Examiner dated February 3, 19`86; the Building and .Zoning
Director is hereby authorized and directedlto change the maps of
ORDINANCE NO. 3985
the Zoning Ordinance, as amended, to evidence said rezoning, to -wit:
See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part
hereof as if fully set forth herein.
(Said property being located on a vacant lot west
of 138 South Third Place.)
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its
passage, approval and five days after publication.
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 21st day of April, 1986.

EXHIBIT A
That portion of Lots 5 and 6, Block 1 of Wefancs Addition,
according to Plat recorded in Volume 39 of Plats, Page 21, records of
King County, Washington described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the North line of Lot 5 at a point 55 feet
East of the Northwest corner of said Lot 5 as measured along said North
line; thence South 111.09 feet to a point on the South line of said lot,
said point being on a curve the center of which bears South 14-50-07
East; thence Easterly along said curve to the right with a radius of 360
feet for a distance of 79.29 feet; thence North 87-47-06 East 23.56 feet
to a point 15.26 feet West of the Southeast corner of Lot 6 as measured
along said South line; thence North 1-43-39 West 96.22 feet to the North
line of Lot 6; thence North 88-40-50 West along said North line of Lot 6
and Lot 5, 98.92 feet to the point of beginning.
