AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON AND ELIMINATING CERTAIN PARCELS THEREFROM (AREA -WIDE VALLEY REZONE - PHASE II) WHEREAS under Chapter 7, Title IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 known as the "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton," as amended, and the maps and reports adopted in conjunction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been zoned various zoning classifications; and WHEREAS the City of Renton initiated a proceeding for change of zone classifications of said property. The matter was duly referred to the Planning Commission for investigation, study and public hearing and a public hearing having been held thereon on or about November 6, 1985, and continued to November 26 and December 11, 1985, and the Planning Commission having recommended certain rezonings to the City Council; and WHEREAS the City Council held its own public hearing on this rezone and referred the matter to the Council's Planning and Development Committee for study and recommendation; and the Planning and Development Committee having held public meetings on the rezones and recommended to the full Council that Phase I and Phase II of the area -wide rezone be approved; and the full Council did, in fact, approve the rezones for Phase I and Phase II but directed that Phase III be remanded to the Planning and Development Committee for further study; and WHEREAS the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 3983 rezoning a portion of the proposed area -wide rezone to Phase I; and WHEREAS the legal descriptions for Phase II of the area -wide rezone having been completed, NOW THEREFORE K ORDINANCE NO. 4020 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: The following described property in the City of Renton is hereby rezoned as hereinbelow specified: the Building and Zoning Director is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance, as amended, to evidence said rezoning, to -wit: See Exhibit "A" (Phase II) attached hereto and made a part hereof as if fully set forth herein (Said property being located north of I7405, south of the Pacific Coast Railroad Right-of-way, east of the Burlington Northern Railroad Right-of-way, and west of Maple Avenue S.W., if extended.)
