1. All work and materials shall be in conformance with the standards
and specifications of the City of Renton Utility department and
the latest edition of the American Public Work Association (APWA)
Standards and Specifications.
2. Existing utility locations are approximate only. It shall be the
contractor's responsibility to verify locations and inverts prior
to construction. For utility locations in King County call
1- 800 -424 -5555.
3. A preconstruction conference and twenty -four hour notice will be
required prior to starting new construction.
4. It shall be the contractor's responsibilty to secure all necessary
permits prior to starting construction.
5. Inspection will be accomplished by a representative of the City of
Renton.
6. All trenches shall be compacted prior to testing sewer lines for
acceptance.
7. Side sewers shall be tested for acceptance at the same time the
main line sewer is tested.
8. New connection to existing facilities shall be sealed off until
upstream construction is finished, tested, cleaned and accepted.
All construction debris and water shall be removed prior to
opening the seal.
