AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING
THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE
CITY OF RENTON FROM KING COUNTY SUBURBAN RESIDENCE DISTRICT
(S-1) TO CITY OF m. iTON SINGLE RESIDENCE DISTRICT (R-1).
1,MER.EAS, under Ordinance No. 1472, as amended, and the maps adopted in con-
junction therewith, the property hereinbelow described has heretofore been zoned
as King County Suburban residence district (S-1); and
I-4TIEREAS, under the provisions of the aforesaid Ordinance, as amended, a
proper petition for change of zone classification of said property to City of
Renton single residence district (R-1) has been filed with the City Clerk of the
City of Renton on or about July 12, 1960, which petition was then duly submitted
to the Planning Commission for investigation, public hearing and study, and �-Tas
denied by the Planning Commission, but an appeal therefrom was duly taken to the
City Council, and a time for hearing on said appeal was duly set, and such public
hearing thereon having been held on Cctober 18, 1960 in the Council Chambers of
the City of Renton, all pursuant to Notice of Hearing duly published and posted as
provided.by 1wa, with continuances thereon to November 1, 1960, and said Oity
Council having duly considered and studied said petition; NOW TH=— C?--,,

is hereby rezoned to Single Residence District (R-1) as specified belm-!; t7e City
7'llngineer is hereby authorized and directed to change the maps of the Zoning Ordinances
of the City of Kenton to evidence this rezoning; said property being described as
follows:
Tracts 6"') and 89 of Renton Cooperative Coal Company's Acre Tracts
Situate in the County of King, State of Washington f
and said rezoning to be subject to the laws and Ordinances of the City of Re --1-n
and in compl:5ance with the plans and specifications heretofore submitted by petitioner -
owner of said property.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
