ORDINANCE NO.
AN (RDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE ZUiING
CIASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTIES WITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON FROM
SUBURBAN RESIDENCE NO. 1 DISTRICT (SR -1) to BUSINESS DISTRICT (B-1)
1-FAMr-EAS under Chapter VII, Title IV (Building Regulations), of
Ordinance No. 1628, known as the ItCode of General Ordinances of the City of
Renton" as amended, and the maps adopted in conjunction therewith, the properties
hereinbelow described have heretofore been zoned as Suburban Residence No. 1
District (SR -1); and
VERFAS under the provisions of the aforesaid Ordinance, as amended, a
proper petition for change of zone c2a,ssification of the, hereinbelow described
properties ha -s been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton on or about
July 28, 1961, Which petition was then duly submitted to the Planning Commission
for investigation, study and public hearing, and a public lEar ing having been held
thereon on August 23, 1961 in the .Council Chambers of the City of Renton, all
pursuant to notice of hearing duly published aid posted as provided by law; and
said Planning Commission having duly considered and studied said petition , and
having ;rade certain recommendation in connection therewith, and having heard all
parties appearing in support thereof or in opposition thereto; now therefore

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND TEE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF P2NTON
SECTION I: The following described parcels of property in the City
of Renton are hereby rezoned to Business District (B-1) as specified below; the
City Engineer and the Planning Director are hereby authorized and directed to
change the maps of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Renton to evidence this
rezoning; said properties being described .as follows:
Tract 46C, Corrected Plat of Renton Highlands No, 2, and
Block 40, Corrected Plat of Renton Highlands No. 2, all
located in Renton, King County, Washington
and said rezoning to be subject to the laws and ardinances of the City of Renton;
and further providing that the petitioner s-ot.�ners convey and transfer unto the City
of Renton the North 20 feet of Tract 46C and the South 20 feet of Tract 46B,
respectively, for street right of way and other public purposes.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage, approval and legal publications,
PASSED BY THE CITY COUNCIL this 12th day of September, 1961
