AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
CHAPTER VII (ZONING) OF TITLE IV (BUILDING REGUTATIONS) OF
ORDINANCE _ NO. 1628 ENTI TLED "CODE OF . GENERAL ORDINANCES OF
THE CITY OF RENTON".
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Portions of existing TABLE 1 of Chapter 7 -(Zoning Code) of
Title IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Renton" relating to the "net lot areas" specified in said
uktz 1 as to"R-2" Residence District and 11R-3" Residence District reading as follows:
District -+ "R-2" Residence District
Net Lot Areas: Minimum lot size 5,000 sq. ft.
1,250 sq. ft. per d.u. of 2 bedrooms or more
850 sq. ft. per d.u. of 1 bedroom
600 sq. ft. per d.u. of 0 bedrooms
District «, "R••3" Residence District
Net Lot Areas: Minimum lot size 5,000 sq. ft.
2,000 sq, ft. per d.u. of 2 bedrooms or more
1,500 sq, ft, per d.u. of 1 bedroom
1,000 sq. ft. per d.u. of 0 bedrooms
be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Amended Table 1
District - "R«2" Residence District
Net Lot Areas: Minimum lot size 5,000 sq. ft.
2,000 sq. ft. per d.u. of 2 bedrooms or more
1,500 sq, ft, per d.u. of 1 bedroom
1,000 sq. ft, per d.u. of 0 bedrooms
District „ "R-3" Residence District
Net Lot Areas: Minimum lot size 5,000 sq. ft.
1,250 sq. ft. per.d.u. of 2 bedrooms or more
850 sq. ft. per d.u. of 1 bedroom
600 sq. ft. per d.u. of 0 bedrooms
All other requirements and specifications of said TABLE 1 remain in full force and
effect.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and legal publication.
