AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, PROVIDING FOR
TRANSFER OF FUNDS BETWEEN GENERAL CLASSES AND EXPENDITURES
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
Section I: For the purpose of providing additional funds for the maintenance
and operation of the Street Department and in order to meet certain obligations and
expenditures which could not be foreseeable at the time of the adoption of the 1962
budget , it is hereby found necessary for the proper administration, operation
and benefit of the City and said Department to transfer funds between General Classes
as hereinbelow provided and as authorized by Chapter 322 of the 1955 Session Laws of
the State of Washington, and such transfer is hereby found to be in the public
interest and for the public benefit.
Section II: The City Clerk and the City Treasurer are hereby authorized and
directed to make and execute the following transfer of funds, to -wit:
FROM: Street Maintenance Account No. 784,
Materials and supplies $7,000.00
UNTO: Street Maintenance, Salaries and
wages (seasonal labor)
$7,000.00
Section III: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and legal publication.
