AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, TRANSFER-
RING CERTAIN FUNDS RECEIVED IN EXCESS OF ESTIMATED REVENUES
TO THE UTILITY DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS the Renton Utility Department has received revenues in excess of
estimated revenues, to -wit: the payment of the sum of $10,811.95 from the 84th
Co-op Water Association, and
WHEREAS such excess revenues are needed to defray additional expenditures
by the Utility Department which expense could not be reasonably foreseen at the
time of adopting the 1963 Budget; and such appropriation and expenditure being
necessary and required to provide for the expansion of the City's water system,
and being in the public infest and for the public welfare, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS
FOLLOWS:
Section I: There is hereby appropriated from aforesaid excess revenues to
and for Water Maintenance Department, Account No. 7090.12, Capital Outlay,
Account No. 1713, the sum of $10,811.95, for the purpose of expansion and improvement
of water line facilities; the City Clerk and the City Treasurer are hereby authorized
and directed to make transfer of said sum as above stated.
Section II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval aid legal publication.
