LICENSING AND REGULATING CERTAIN SALES KNOWN AS. -
"GOING OUT OF BUSINESS SATZ", ESTABLISHING FEES
FOR THE LICENSING THEREOF1 AND PROVIDING PENALTY
FOR THE, VIOLATION OF THIS -ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAI-MMBY THE MAYOR AND THE -CITY COUNCIL OF -THE CITY OF REENTON., AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I:It shall be unlawful for any persons partnership or corporation

SECTION IV: The City Clerk may, in his discretion, verify the details of

an inventory filed for the purpose of obtaining a "Going Out of Business Sale!
license; or he may make a check and verify the items of merchandise sold during
the sale, and it shall be unlawful for any person to whom such a license has been
issued to fail or refuse to give the City Clerk or any person designated by the
City Clerk for that purpose all the fact;, data, and relevant information connected
with the stock on hand. or with goods sold., or any other information the City Clerk
may reasonably require in order to make a thorough investigation of all phases
connected with such "Going Out of Business Sale",
SECTION V: The terms and provisions of the preceding three paragraphs shall
not be applicable to trustees in bankruptcy, executors, administrators, receivers
or public officers acting under or by judicial process.
SECTION VI: Every person violatin� any terms or provisions of this Ordinance
shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not more than Five Hundred
and no/100 Dollars (5500,00), or imprisonment in the City Jail for a period of not
to exceed ninety (90) days, or both such fine and imprisonment,
SECTION VI: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and legal publication,
