AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON
AMENDING SECTION 1-1002 OF TITLE I (ADMINISTRATIVE)
OF ORDINANCE NO. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL
ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON""
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS
SECTION I: Section 1-1002 of Title I (Administrative) of Ordinance No. 1628
entitled "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON" is hereby amended as follows:
Section 1-1002, as amended: CLERK: The Clerk of the City of Renton, before
entering upon the duties of such office, shall file with the Mayor a bond in the amount
of $10,000.00, with sureties to be approved by the Council, conditioned for the faithful
performance of such duties as Clerk and that said Clerk will faithfully account for all
monies that may come into her hands as such Clerk, belonging to the City.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and legal publication.
